ElevAid™ Harness

Many caregivers struggle to get a lift sling under a patient, so we have developed & patented ElevAid™, a first of its kind padded harness prototype that connects to certain patient lifting mechanisms during caregiving activities. Our harness is intended to comfortably lift the patient at the armpit level in order to assist caregivers during preparatory stages for a sling transfer. The ElevAid™ harness was developed to be especially effective in patients typically uncomfortable with the transfer process due to any number of pain (e.g. back spasms, etc). The device is under regulatory review and is not currently cleared or approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.
