As a caregiver, I often work with patients who experience discomfort during repositioning. I had the opportunity to try the ElevAid™ harness prototype and the design places support near the underarm area, which was different from other approaches I’ve used. I can see this being very useful with a certain demographic of patients.
I noticed that the design includes adjustable components and multiple connection points. These features reflect thoughtful engineering and you can tell they really care about making a difference.
The design approach was interesting to work with during my caregiving tasks & I think this product can make a very positive impact.
I was able to test the prototype while assisting with patient repositioning using existing lift equipment. I look forward to the future development of this product!
